Shipping Your Water Adventure Gear
Order Processing
We’ll have your order packed and ready to ship within 1-2 business days of receiving it (excluding weekends and holidays).
Shipping Options
We offer two ways to get your gear:
- Standard Shipping ($12.95): Via DHL or FedEx, arriving within 10-15 business days after shipment
- Free Shipping: For orders over $50 via EMS, arriving within 15-25 business days after shipment
Global Adventurers Note: We ship worldwide except to some Asian and remote regions. International customers are responsible for any customs fees or import taxes.
Our Hassle-Free Returns Policy
We stand behind our water gear like we stand beside you on every expedition. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right.
Return Window
You have 15 days from delivery to initiate a return for most items.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for return:
- Items must be unused and in original condition with all tags attached
- Original packaging must be intact (just like we packed it for your adventure)
- Proof of purchase is required
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Personalized or custom-made items (like embroidered burgees & flags)
- Used buoyancy aids and drysuits
- Clearance or final sale items (marked as such in product descriptions)
Navigating the Return Process
Our return process is easier than reading a tide chart:
Step 1: Initiate Your Return
Email our crew at [email protected] within 15 days with:
- Subject line: “Return Request – [Your Order Number]”
- Your order number
- Item(s) you wish to return
- Reason for return
- Whether you prefer an exchange or refund

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization
Within 2 business days, we’ll email you:
- A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
- Return shipping instructions
- Our return address in Chicago
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Pack your item securely (like you’d pack gear for a kayak trip) and include:
- The original packing slip or invoice
- RMA number clearly visible on the package
Note: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
Step 4: Receive Your Refund or Exchange
Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 5 business days):
- Refunds: Processed to your original payment method within 3-5 business days
- Exchanges: Your replacement ships within 2 business days of return approval
Exchange Policy
Need a different size or product? No problem! Follow the return process above and specify your exchange preference. We’ll ship your new gear as soon as we process your return.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your water gear arrives damaged or defective (which we work hard to prevent), contact us immediately at [email protected]. We’ll arrange a free return and expedite your replacement – no need to navigate rough waters alone.
International Returns
For our global adventurers:
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
- Customs fees for returned items are non-refundable
- Mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional charges
Refund Timeline
Once we receive your return:
- Credit Card/PayPal: 3-5 business days (processing time depends on your bank)
- Original Shipping Costs: Non-refundable unless return is due to our error
